The amount of the stake in Bridgestone Americas wasn’t made public by the companies. Wrench previously raised funding through 20 million Series C round in the month of November 2022.
Bridgestone, one of the Japanese tire manufacturer that dates to at least 90 years ago and has gained a greater U.S. presence since it purchased Firestone in 1988. While it is primarily known for its tires, Bridgestone also sells other auto parts, produces bicycles, sponsors sports events and runs over 2200 of its own automotive service shops owned by the company.
