Drama Queen-Are you attracting drama in your life or business?

One of my great mentors asked an interesting question in this week’s teleclass: Do you attract drama in your life or business?

Your first urge may be to deny it. But what exactly is a drama?

A dictionary definition of “drama” is a state, situation, or sequence of events that involves an interesting or violent clash of forces, or an exaggerated display or emotional reaction.

Well, I don’t know about you, but if that’s the definition of pinoy teleserye, I’m certainly not experiencing a fair share of it.

And if you’re starting or running your own business, you may have it too.

What is the purpose of the drama for us? Well, drama creates stress. And unless you’ve lived under a rock for the past few years, you’ve probably heard about what stress can do to your body. Quick refresh:

“The body does not distinguish between physical and psychological threats. When stressed by busy schedules, discussions with friends, traffic jams, or piles of bills, your body reacts as strongly as you do. Life-threatening situations. If you have a lot of responsibility and concern, the emergency stress response can be “on” in most cases. The more active your body’s stress system, the easier and harder it is to trip. shut down.

Prolonged exposure to stress can cause serious health problems. Chronic stress disrupts almost every system in your body. It can raise blood pressure, suppress the immune system, increase the risk of heart attack and stroke, contribute to infertility and speed up the aging process. Long-term stress can even repair the brain, making it more susceptible to anxiety and depression. “

Yuku, is that so? I know that none of us want to take this physical and emotional risk.

So how can you prevent yourself from becoming another stress-related statistic? The answer is in a simple question: Do you create a drama, draw it, ask for it … are you a drama addict?

It requires a quest for the true soul to get the answer.

The first place to look is the past to see if there are any patterns in your life-patterns such as your relationship, your work experience, your family, your financial situation … I Most of us continue to type in the same way, in the cycle of life until we become aware of these cycles and make a firm decision to change their experiences and the outcome of those experiences.

Remember Albert Einstein’s famous quote about the cycle? “The madness is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results,” he said.

I say here that drama is the most devastating cycle you can experience as a business owner. In addition to the terrible physical and emotional turmoil that can fall upon you, it also undoes all your hard work, making progress difficult, if not impossible, and damaging valuable relationships. There are even things.

Either way, the drama can cost you, your business, and your bottom line.

So where is your drama?

In your neighborhood? Is your office messed up? Is your workspace confusing? Is your application a few months late?

In your wallet? Do you have the latest information on your book? Are you piled up with boxes, files, or receipts that you always forget to do? Do you have unpaid invoices or imbalanced bank accounts?

In your relationship? Is there anyone in your life who breathes all your energy? Is there anyone who discourages you or criticizes you positively? Do you have a debate, hatred, or high-expectation relationship?

Do you know where I’m going with this? To be honest, I think there are some dramas. In fact, many of us may have learned to live with it every day, and the burden is imminent on us. We let go of the warning bells, adrenaline and frustration and learned to live with the drama because it is an inevitable part of our lives.

Drama must not be inevitable on a regular basis in our lives. Indeed, life is constantly changing, always sending us curves and tragic balls. We all have a cross to endure at another time.

But accepting drama and pain every day is unhealthy, which keeps you away from true success, true happiness, and living your truth.
